Tall banyan trees were deemed an ideal spot to observe enemy and friendly activity for miles around. During wartime, a wooden platform was constructed high up in the tree. ✨I think of children, women, men, and families that endured tear gas in their remote village day in and day out, and how it’s still legal for use by police in the U.S.

Working on something new that touches on teargas (weapons of warfare) and landscapes.
