In applying new technologies and nontraditional materials to critique art history in this new series of 3D printed heads, Le uses past and present images to represent characteristics and physiognomy of her parents and herself. Digital techniques and materials are reconstructed and deconstructed in the fabrication to create a false reality that comments on the idea of myth and fables but also signifying importance and splendor.
