What we lost in the Ocean
This body of work is an abstract representation of travel, access, and documentation. A lost digital translation of archived family photographs.
What we lost in the Ocean came about during an archiving session of my family images from analog to digital. During the scanning process, I noticed the scanner created this CMYK digital smears. I deconstructed the idea of the digital breaks as a lost in translation, a travel of misinformation.
